The Texas Tech Red Raiders and Baylor Bears met under the bright lights of Cowboys Stadium in Arlington and dazzled fans with over 1,000 yards of offense, but the Baylor Bears defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders in overtime 52-45 on Saturday.
The story of the game, aside from the offense, was turnovers. The Red Raiders turned the ball over four times, including a Seth Doege pass that was returned for a touchdown by Bears cornerback Eddie Lackey.
Seth Doege had a productive game on the field, going 30/40 for 359 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Darrin Moore Jr was his favorite target for the afternoon, going for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Bears struck for the only touchdown in overtime - Glasco Martin rushing from 4 yards out to give the Bears the lead.
The Red Raiders went 3 and out and fell to 4-5 in the Big 12.
The Red Raiders await their bowl announcement in the coming days.
