The illegal use of Texas Tech software has now lead to the resignation of three employees at Oklahoma State University.
Gary Wiggins, the Vice President for Information Technology at OSU, resigned Friday. Wiggins claimed the university had been using Tech's software under the assumption that it was free to any user. His assistant Michael Hewett and another employee, Brandon Labonte were also forced to resign two weeks ago.
All three were formerly employed by Texas Tech and followed Dr. David Schmidly when he left Tech to become President at Oklahoma State.
