Lubbock police investigate overnight stabbing

Police are investigating a Friday morning stabbing in south Lubbock. It happened around 4 a.m. in the 1700 block of 92nd street.

Police say the victim was staying at a friend's house. When the friend came home police say he noticed stab wounds on the victim's neck but they could not explain how they got there.

The victim was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
     
Police say the investigation is on going.

    A large water main break has prompted the City of Tahoka to shut off water to make repairs. The City posted the message about the break on their Facebook page around 6:30 Wednesday morning.  A boil water notice is in effect until further notice. Copyright 2017 KCBD. All rights reserved.
