Thacker Jewelers offers diamond cutting demonstration

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A diamond cutter from one of the world's largest diamond manufacturers is in Lubbock this weekend.

Thacker Jewelers is hosting Ofer Mizrahi diamonds from Israel to show the process of cutting a rough diamond into what's called a "perfect" diamond.

Joe Thacker says this is a unique and rare opportunity.

The diamond cutter will only be at ten stores this year.

He will be at Thacker again Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
