LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
This week's Pay It Forward starts out along 19th Street between Avenue Q and I-27.
It only took a minute or two for Sandy Anderson and her daughter
Amy to spot our sign. Sandy wants to help out Sally Morales who is a
volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Sandy explains that Sally has been going through rough times and
has experienced medical issues recently. Sandy feels that Sally will be a
perfect candidate for Pay It Forward.
We head to Habitat for Humanity where we find Sally answering
phones at the front desk. Sally is completely surprised and gives Sandy a
hug when she discovers what is going on.
Everyone at Habitat for Humanity told us afterwards that they
couldn't think of a person who could use $300 more than Sally.
