Lady Raiders roll past Illinois - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech's women's basketball team improved to 7-1 Wednesday night by handling the Illinois Fighting Illini, 75-56 at United Spirit Arena. 

The win was the Lady Raiders first victory over a fellow BCS conference school this season (Big Ten), giving the team a strong non-conference victory as they approach conference play in the coming weeks.

With finals week approaching, the Lady Raiders take a break before returning to United Spirit Arena to take on Northern Colorado on December 16^th at 2:00 p.m.
