Good news for women who love to go to the nail salon. A new study from the 'Journal of Investigative Dermatology' confirms that UV lamps, used to dry your nails, do not cause skin cancer. Researchers have been investigating a possible link between UV lamps and a higher chance of developing keratinocyte carcinoma, which is the most common cancer here in the United States. But now, the final decision is that you could only raise your risk of getting cancer if you were to get your nails done every week for 250 years.
