Running backs coach Chad Scott leaves Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

NewsChannel 11 has confirmed that Texas Tech running backs coach Chad Scott is no longer employed by Texas Tech effective immediately.

During Scott's final season at Tech, the Red Raiders had 1,674 rushing yards during the regular season - Tech's most since 1998.

Texas Tech has declined to provide any further details on Scott's departure.
