SAM Training Seminars for Women Will be Available January 4 & 5th, 2013
Westborough, MA (PRWEB) December 13, 2012
In October of 2012, the tragic disappearance and murder of University of New Hampshire student and Westborough, MA resident Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott rocked the community to its core. One mother, Alisa Stone, looked at this life-changing event as an opportunity to help educate and empower girls coming home from college for Winter Break, as well as local high school female students and their moms. Alisa explains, “Nothing is more important than preparing loved ones with life safety skills they can actually use to reduce their risk of becoming a victim.”
Alisa had heard about the program Empower the Girls We Love: Personal Safety Training 101, a SAM® Training, LLC course, after attending a presentation. She has invited the program Director, Ellen Van Olden and her staff to visit Westborough and bring their expertise, training and no-nonsense approach to personal safety to all women of the community. The event will be held on:
