Malfunctioning smoke alarm leads to emergency landing at Lubbock airport

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A malfunctioning smoke alarm prompted an emergency landing at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport Friday morning.

A large plane landed safely around 11 a.m. with over 150 people on board.

Several emergency crews responded, but fortunately, there was no fire.
