Lubbock Fire Department responds to blaze at abandoned house

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

An abandoned house caught fire just before 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

The Lubbock Fire Department responded to the home off Avenue U and 39th Street.

A KCBD crew saw fire coming out the front door and window.

Fire officials were able to quickly put out the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
