The synthetic marijuana debate will continued Monday night at the Lubbock City Council meeting.
City Attorney, Sam Medina recommended that the council allow them till their next meeting to come up with a concrete ordinance. Three council members, Karen Gibson, Victor Hernandez and Todd Klein will assist with the ordinance.
The ordinance is expected to be presented and voted on during the first meeting after the new year. The council assured everyone that they are working hard to find a viable solution that will not be able to be broken down by synthetic marijuana manufacturers.
