Construction on N. Loop 289 to be completed Friday

New construction on the North Loop in Lubbock may cause some traffic delays this week.

TxDOT started demolition Monday on the overpass at Quaker and the Texas Tech Parkway. The work will require this intersection to be closed off until this Friday.

Traffic will be detoured along the frontage roads.
