TxDOT strongly discouraging travel along I-27 corridor

From The Texas Department of Transportation:

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is strongly discouraging any travel along the I-27 corridor between Lubbock and Amarillo due to extremely dangerous conditions. Strong winds producing blowing dust are creating near zero visibility conditions.

Blowing dust is limiting visibility across the entire South Plains area. Motorists are urged to drive to conditions and with caution.
