The Christmas season can be stressful for anyone. It's also a loving time of the year that can bring lots of joy.
Unfortunately, there is a community in Connecticut right now that isn't feeling much joy this Christmas.
And the wounds created by that insane gunman that killed 28 people there won't soon heal.
So consider this:
As you share precious moments with your family this Christmas, take a moment to remember those families in Newtown that won't get that chance.
And as you routinely pray for your children's safety, say a prayer for those parents who are experiencing the unimaginable.
It's easy for us to get caught up in our lives and our own happiness. We may even find ourselves complaining about petty issues.
And it's sad that turning on the news is all it takes for most of us to remember just how fortunate we really are.
