Texas Tech University joins national moment of silence

From Texas Tech University:

In response to Connecticut Gov. Daniel Malloy's request for a national moment of silence, Texas Gov. Rick Perry has asked the state to join him in recognizing and reflecting on the 26 victims of last week's school shootings in Newtown, Conn.

Texas Tech University will join in the National Moment of Silence. The university's bell tower bells will ring 26 times, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
