From City of Lubbock:
City of Lubbock offices will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday, December 26.
Due to the Christmas holiday, regularly scheduled trash pickup will not occur on Monday or Tuesday. For the Christmas holiday week, Monday and Tuesday's scheduled trash collection will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Trash collection will continue on Friday and Saturday, December 28 and 29 so that all areas of the city are serviced. Residents with cart trash collection service will receive cart trash collection on Thursday, December 27.
Trash collection service will be running on Saturday, December 22 and Saturday, December 29. Residents requesting trash pickup on those days are asked to visit the City's website, www.mylubbock.us, and enter a portal request from the on-line Citizen Help Center.
The Solid Waste Drop-off Centers at 208 Municipal Drive and 1631 84th Street will be closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25.
