2 town homes damaged in Saturday afternoon fire

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A structure fire damaged two town homes on Saturday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m. the Lubbock Fire Department was called to the 4600 block of 56th Street.

When fire crews arrived, they saw smoke coming from between two town homes. Crews say it was a standard alarm response.

The damage was isolated to the outside of the structure and was reported to be minor.

Fire crews say no one was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
