LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Police say a 22-year-old Lubbock man arrested earlier this month is now believed to be responsible for at least 3 homes burglaries during the past three months.

Jonathon Tijerina has been charged with multiple counts, including burglary of a habitation, theft, and possession of marijuana.

Police were able to find him after receiving a tip about a suspect vehicle involved in a recent burglary.

Police pulled Tijerina over after he failed to come to a complete stop, and that's where they found a number of stolen items and the marijuana.

Police also found more stolen items in a hotel room that Tijerina was staying in. Most of the items have been returned to the owners.
