Meineke Car Care Bowl kicks off at 8 p.m.

HOUSTON, TX (KCBD) -

The wait is over! The Texas Tech Red Raiders and Minnesota Golden Gophers are set to battle tonight from Houston at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

The Red Raiders are entering the game at 7-5 and the Gophers are battling to get above .500 at 6-6.

Chris Thomsen will take over the coaching reigns for the bowl game after Tommy Tuberville left the team for the Head Coaching gig at Cincinnati.
