MIDLAND, TX (KCBD) -
Another lawsuit has been filed after the deadly train accident in Midland last month.
The widow of one of the four military veterans killed has filed a wrongful death suit.
Catherine Stouffer, the wife of 37-year-old Gary Stouffer Jr., is seeking unspecified damages.
The suit was filed Thursday in Dallas.
It's the second lawsuit filed since a train traveling 62 miles per hour struck a flatbed truck that was part of a Midland parade honoring wounded vets and their wives.
The suit states that Union Pacific was negligent for failing to maintain a safe crossing.
