    A major winter storm will be possible across the South Plains viewing area Monday, especially north of Lubbock. Computer models have been increasing our potential for a significant winter storm Monday
    Snowfall is expected to develop across much of the South Plains viewing area overnight. Strong north winds up to 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 to 60 mph will be possible Monday. The combination of heavy snow, strong winds and cold temperatures will create blizzard-like weather conditions with near white out conditions possible, especially from Lubbock northward.
