A new vaccine to slow down HIV patients

A new vaccine under study appears to put the brakes on the growth of HIV in infected patients...at least temporarily. Scientists at the University of Barcelona tested the vaccine in a controlled study, and found the vaccine lowered the level of HIVin the blood for a number of months.  It's not a cure, but it at least allowed people taking mega doses of therapy to enjoy life for a while without multiple medicines every day.
