LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, Lubbock police were called to Avenue J and 32nd street for a death investigation.
Lubbock Police Sergeant Jonathan Stewart says a man was found dead inside his home by a relative. Homicide detectives were called out, but police are calling this a routine investigation.
The man has been identified as Edgar Clinton, 63. Neighbors say he went by the nickname "Skeeter." Neighbors tell us Clinton had just recently lost his wife - on Christmas Eve.
