Man upgraded to satisfactory condition after Thursday night rollover

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

33-year-old Kenneth Haggerton is now in satisfactory condition at UMC, after a Thursday evening rollover.

Around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, troopers say Haggerton was driving north on Milwaukee near Shallowater.

That's when investigators say he pulled out in front of a van driven by 64-year-old Carolyn Wells at the Highway 84 intersection.

Witnesses say Wells was driving without her headlights on.

The impact caused Haggerton's truck to roll several times before it landed upside down in a ditch.

First responders used the Jaws of Life to cut him from his truck.

He was taken to UMC by Aerocare.

Well's van came to a stop about 150 feet down the road.

Troopers say she had a 16-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy in the van with her.

Luckily, they only had minor injuries.
