Covenant Health Hosts Program on Prescription Drug Abuse

Covenant Health will host a program about prescription drug abuse on Thursday, January 10 at 6 p.m. at Knipling Education Conference Center.

Dr. Juan Fitz is an emergency physician and will be the speaker at the program. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) in 2010, about 7 million people were current users of psychotherapeutic drugs taken non-medically.
