Caregiver charged with capital murder in death of 2-year-old

CROSBYTON, TX (KCBD) -

Matilda Almaraz has been arrested and is being charged with capital murder in connection with the death of two-year-old Leah Marie Aguirre. 

Crosbyton Police Chief Greg Parrot said that the investigation is ongoing and Matilda may not be the only suspect in the case.
