Disappointing news from the CDC, but it may explain some aches and pains at your house. New research finds the strain of flu circulating this year has been hard to fight. As a result, the flu shot is proving to be 60 percent effective. That means 40 percent who get the shot, may end up with the flu anyway. Here's the silver lining, the CDC says those who get the shot and end up with the flu are saying it was not so bad. It also lasted fewer days than expected. So, since people die from complications of the flu, officials say the shot is definitely worth the effort. There is still time to get the shot.
