LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Tech Red Raiders only trailed #6 Kansas by 2 at the half, but a critical 12-0 run early in the second half held off any chance of an upset as the Jayhawks defeated the Red Raiders 60-46 on Saturday afternoon.

Jamal Williams Jr. led the way for the Texas Tech Red Raiders with 11 points.

Dejan Kravic hands down had one of his better games as a Red Raider going 3 for 8, with 9 points and 8 rebounds.

Texas Tech only led once in this game early in the 1st half after a Josh Gray layup that put the Red Raiders up 10-9.

The Red Raiders fall to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in Big 12 play. They will continue their season on Wednesday when they travel to Norman to take on Oklahoma.
