School of Rock comes to Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

It was a day to rock out for the grand opening of Lubbock's first ever School of Rock.

Special guests included Mayor Robertson and Peggy Sue Gerron.

School of Rock is a place for students to get involved to learn how to play instruments like the guitar, the bass, and even learn how to belt a note or two.

And to make this grand opening official, School of Rock had Peggy Sue break a guitar for good luck...

Co-owner Amber Beales hopes to see graduates of the performance-based program rock out all around the Hub City.
