Cyclist hit by car Sunday afternoon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A bicyclist was hit by a car while riding on Sunday afternoon.

Police say just after 4 p.m. at the 2700 block of Marsha Sharp, Abel Serbantes was riding his bike and was hit by a brown two-door passenger car.

Police transported the bike from the scene.

Serbantes was taken to UMC with minor injuries.
