Truck fire on S. Loop 289 this evening

A truck carrying a trailer caught fire this evening around 5 p.m. on S. Loop 289 between Quaker and Indiana.

Traffic was slow as police shut down the west bound lanes on the Loop between Quaker and Indiana until fire crews were able to put out the fire.

There were no injuries.

Police are still investigating how the fire was started.
