As little kids we learn that carrots are good for the eyes. Turns out there are a lot of vitamins and minerals that are important to our vision including an element called selenium. Our guest today is Dr. Ted Reid, a professor and researcher, at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in the Department of Ophthalmology. He's been studying selenium to learn more about how it can be used in many different ways.
