Final suspect in 2010 murder behind bars

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The last suspect in the murder of a Wilson man is now behind bars.

19-year-old Zeven Sanders was sentenced to 15 years in prison today after pleading guilty to 1 count of robbery. Sanders and two other men were charged with capital murder in the death of Brian Brinson, age 52, in 2010.

Sanders accused Brinson, a convicted as a sex offender in the state of Oregon of inappropriately touching him when Brinson gave him a ride in his car near Monterey High School.
Police say Sanders intended to lure Brian Brinson to a location so he and Devante Lamar Jones could beat and rob him.

At this point Arenn Davis got into the car. Davis was carrying a gun and shot Brinson to death.

The victim's body was found in his car at the 1300 block of 24th Pl. 

Arenn Davis plead guilty to first degree murder and is serving 25 years.

20 year old Devante Jones, plead guilty last year and was sentenced to 15 years.
