2 men arrested for home burglary, third suspect at large

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Officers responded to a burglary in progress at the 4800 block of 40th street Thursday night. As officers arrived, 3 suspects fled the scene. 

Police say James Lee Johnson, 48, was caught after a short foot pursuit. Officers located Shane Ray Trevino, 19, in the area.

Property stolen from the residence was recovered and property possibly stolen in previous burglaries was also recovered. Johnson and Trevino were arrested and charged with burglary and evading arrest.

The third subject, described as a black male wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black cap, has not been located.
