Red Raiders compete in East-West Shrine Game

Texas Tech Quarterback Seth Doege and defensive back Cody Davis participated in the 2013 East-West Shrine game in St. Petersburg, Florida on Saturday afternoon.

It was not a memorable afternoon for Seth Doege. Doege went 4 of 8 for 40 yards. His best play was on a 3rd and 10 where he found Mississippi State wide receiver Chad Bumphis for a first down. Doege also coughed up a fumble and threw an interception in the second half.

Cody Davis started for the West team on Saturday afternoon. He led the Red Raiders in tackles in 2012.

The two players are hoping to continue their football careers in the NFL.

The West team topped the East 28-13.
