Lady Raiders knock off 21st ranked Jayhawks

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lady Raiders basketball team (14-4, 4-2) held on for a 70-63 victory over 21st ranked Kansas (11-5, 2-3) at United Spirit Arena Saturday night.

Led by Chynna Brown's 20 points, on 8-of-13 shooting, the Lady Raiders finished off a perfect week, also beating rival Texas 66-59 on Wednesday.

The win continues the Lady Raiders dominance over the Lady Jayhawks, upping their all-time record vs. Kansas to 15-5.

The Lady Raiders gun for their third straight win Tuesday night when they invade Morgantown to take on West Virginia at 6 p.m.
