Lubbock ranks in Top 20 best-run cities in U.S.

Lubbock is the 19th best-run city in the country. That's according to 24/7 Wall St., who recently announced the results of their second annual ranking of the 100 largest cities in the United States. The financial news website based their ranking on local economies, fiscal management, and quality of life.

In their ranking, 24/7 Wall St. stated that Lubbock benefits from a stable economy, low unemployment, and increased home values. The group also considered a city's credit rating, poverty, education, crime, and regional GDP when ranking the cities.
