Jerry Ybarra, 38 (Source: Lubbock County Detention Center)LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Lubbock police called in a helicopter Sunday morning to help them track a fleeing suspect.
Police say the suspect, Jerry Ybarra, 38, was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle around 2:30 a.m. when he got out of the car and ran on foot.
DPS was called to assist. Ybarra was arrested at 2200 University Avenue near Avenue U.
Ybarra was charged with evading arrest, intoxication, possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
