Dr. Laszlo Nagy was one of the many featured performers tonight at Hemmle Hall. But this is not his day job. Dr. Nagy is a pediatric neurosurgeon at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. His buddy on the piano was Dr. Jim Gutheil, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. But tonight, they entertained a packed crowd at Texas Tech's Hemmle Hall. In all, 16 medical students and faculty traded their medical books for music…in an effort to raise money for a good cause. The evening was called "Play it Forward." It was a free event with donations given at the door. Before the event even started, these medical musicians had raised more than $6,000. That money will go to CASA and to the Lubbock Free Clinic, which is run by medical students.
