Head Start & Pre-K Registration Friday

Registration for Lubbock's Head Start and Pre-K programs starts Friday.

You might remember last year how parents camped out to enroll their 3 and 4-year olds. Well, spots should fill quickly again this year.

Early registration starts at Martin Early Learning Center at 3315 East Broadway Friday morning at 8am.

To qualify for the program, you must bring:

  • Proof of your household income
  • Address verification
  • Child's official birth certificate. You can get a copy at the Lubbock health department for eleven dollars
  • Child's social security card
  • Shot record with 4-year booster.

You should also bring any government assistance program letters. And remember, children must be at least 3 years old on or before September 1st to registers.
