DPS vehicle collides with SUV, 2 hospitalized

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A little after 12:30 p.m. Thursday, a white DPS SUV driving eastbound on Marsha Sharp collided with a silver southbound SUV approaching the I-27 exit.

The DPS vehicle ended up in the ditch, while the silver car was pushed up against a traffic light.

The two drivers were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries

EMS, state troopers and a tow truck were called to the scene. No other passengers or cars were involved.
