Volunteers Needed for Tai Chi Study

Texas Tech researchers are moving into phase two of a Tai Chi study. Researchers need people with knee pain to use in the study.

The study is looking at the effects of Tai Chi on osteoarthritis of the knee. The first phase involved free Tai Chi classes for folks age 50 and over.

If you qualify for this next phase, you'll get free Tai Chi classes and free exams. If you're interested in joining the study, there are two sign up sessions this week.

The first is Tuesday, July 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The second is July 31st from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Both sessions are at the Lakeridge United Methodist Ministry Center. For more information on the study, just call (806) 794-8843.
