More than two-million bottles of cough and cold syrup have been recalled. It's not because of the medicine, but because the cap is not keeping kids out. Drug maker Novartis has issued a voluntary recall of Triaminic and Theraflu. The Consumer Products Safety Commission says twelve kids have opened the bottle themselves, and four of the 12 have taken a taste. One needed medical attention. The recalled medicines contain acetaminophen, and doctors say young children can easily overdose on the ingredient. Large amounts can cause liver damage. If you have Triaminic or Theraflu in your house, check for a safety cap. If it doesn't work, or if you have questions about the recall, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 866-553-6742. They are available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to midnight eastern time.
