LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Police say 21-year-old John Jordan has died after losing control of his car on Slaton Highway.
They believe he veered into the center median in front of the LP&L power plant, then overcorrected, flipping his car multiple times.
Jordan was ejected from the vehicle as his car flipped over an 8-foot fence.
A sheriff's deputy noticed the accident just before 8 a.m., but they believe it may have happened much earlier.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in this accident.
