Darton baseball wraps up weekend with close win over Southern Union

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Darton baseball team showed its home fans what it hopes is a sign of things to come this weekend. 

The Cavs finished off the weekend 2-0 after a 4-3 win over Southern Union on Sunday.  Pitcher Casey Moody got the win and Ryan Good picked up his second save of the year.  Kody Adams was 3-4 with two runs scored. Nate Ferrell was 2-4 with two RBI and a run scored.

On Saturday, the Cavs dominated Wallace Dothan 13-2.  A.J. Sunstrom got the win after pitching 6 innings and striking out 4.  Brandon Sharpe went 2-5 with 2 runs and 3 RBI.

Darton will play at Southern Union in Wadley, Alabama on Tuesday.
