Lamesa Hopes to Revitalize Downtown

Big changes could be in store for downtown Lamesa. The City of Lamesa is working to revitalize its town square.

Old buildings currently sit in downtown Lamesa but the city is applying for a downtown revitalization grant through the Department of Agriculture. The goal is to get new retailers to move into the area and make the city square the place to be.
