South Plains Telephone service interrupted

From South Plains Telephone Cooperative:

 A major fiber cut by a competitive company has caused interruption of local and long distance services. SPTC Internet and SPTC long distance is working but SPTC Office phones cannot receive or make calls.

Crews are currently working on the problem.

The outage has affected the following communities:
Acuff, Arnett, Caprock, Cone, Cotton Center, County Line, Edmonson, Fieldton, Halfway, Happy Union, Hollandville, McAdoo, Merrell, Pettit, Ransom Canyon and Woodrow
