Truck Driven by Lubbock Teen Strikes Utility Pole - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock teen is recovering after a late night accident. It happened about 10:30 p.m. on Monday night in the parking lot of Smith Elementary at 87th St. and Dover.

The driver apparently ran the truck into a light pole, knocking it to the ground. He was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The cause of the accident is now under investigation.
