Alliance Data will leverage StatementRewards to give its co-brand cardholders timely, personalized offers
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 06, 2013
Truaxis, a MasterCard company, has been selected by Alliance Data Retail Services, one of the nation’s leading providers of branded credit programs, to deliver Truaxis’ StatementRewards program to its clients’ co-brand credit card account holders.
The transaction-driven StatementRewards platform maximizes value to cardholders by identifying and offering personalized, relevant rewards and offers from non-competing merchant brands, based on the cardholder’s purchase history, predictive analytics and collaborative filtering. These types of offers have been shown to lift a retailer’s share of spend on store-brand cards, as well as online engagement with the brand—both of which deepen the customer-brand relationship and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
“By partnering with Truaxis, we’re enhancing the value our retail clients provide to their customers, delivering another touch point upon which to build loyalty,” said Dan Finkelman, chief marketing officer for Alliance Data Retail Services, vice president of business development for Alliance Data. “This program is designed to further increase sales for our retailer partners through the delivery of personalized rewards and discounts to our millions of co-brand cardholders. We also believe it may result in increased total spend for our co-brand card programs by making our card the one our cardholders prefer to use when making a purchase.”
Under terms of the agreement, Alliance Data, which provides more than 100 branded private label, co-brand and commercial credit card programs for some of North America’s best-known retail brands, will leverage StatementRewards to give its co-brand cardholders timely, personalized offers, which a cardholder can purchase using their co-brand credit card, all via Alliance Data’s customer account center online portal. No cardholder personal information is shared with partner merchants.
“The Truaxis platform strengthens the value and loyalty aspect of a credit card program, giving consumers one more reason to select one card over another,” said Schwark Satyavolu, co-founder and chief executive officer of Truaxis. “Through our sophisticated analytics and breadth of offer types, Truaxis’ StatementRewards platform provides relevant, valuable rewards to cardholders that ultimately serve to extend the retailer’s brand presence into cardholders’ other shopping trips and experiences. The result is that Alliance Data’s clients will see increased customer satisfaction and loyalty, demonstrated through greater use of their co-brand credit cards, as well as more frequent shopping trips to their favorite retailer.”
Truaxis, a MasterCard company, is working with the country’s leading financial institutions and merchants to deliver the market’s most comprehensive data-driven personalized services platform.
Truaxis’ StatementRewards platform leverages sophisticated analytics and matching capabilities to deliver a broad spectrum of data-driven services, including in-statement loyalty rewards that transform the relationships between banks and merchants, help better serve their customers and build brand loyalty. StatementRewards uses secure matching technology and anonymous user transaction data to pair users with personalized merchant offers and recommendations, as well as powering other rich features like a unified loyalty card, social benchmarking spend comparisons, and mobile and social rewards.
Truaxis is also the creator of BillShrink.com, a free consumer site that has helped millions of Americans find potential savings of more than $1 billion by delivering personalized money-saving recommendations on their most common household bills.
